Welcome to the Ahwahnee Estates FireWise & Neighbor Hood Watch.
This site is where the Neighbors of Ahwahnee Estates can share information about what occurs around the neighbor hood. There is a FireWise and neighbor hood watch program here in Ahwahnee Estates. Participating residents have each others phone numbers, email address’s, and contact information. If any local Fire’s are spotted please report immediately since they can grow very quickly. If any suspicious activity occurs we keep in contact with each other and will inform the owner and the police if home alarms go off, or some behavior by others seems suspicious enough to make a neighbor concerned.
In regards about the U-Blog/Posts/Comment Page, What I would suggest asking/commenting on the present POSTS are as follows.
- Site Usage, Blog Posts – This would be the Post for comments to suggest site improvements or if you’re having problems with the operation of the Site.
- FireWise Blog – One major concern that can be discussed is Fire Safety for this upcoming fire season. This affects all of our safety and insurance premiums.
- Misc Posts – This would be the Post for commenting and general discussions between Neighbors of Ahwahnee Estates on miscellaneous things that are going on here in Ahwahnee Estates that you would like to make your neighbors aware of.
- Safety in Ahwahnee Estates !!! – This would be the Post for commenting and discussing things such as safety issues in Ahwahnee Estates. Items like those listed below.
- Suspicious behavior by people you do not recognize as residents. If someone is doing something that seems to be destructive, get their license plate, make of car, what it was they were doing, etc… Strongly suggest do not try and engage yourself.
- Wild animal activity that could potentially be dangerous: We all know we have wild bear, mountain lion, and a variety of other wild animals living here with us. Let’s preserve and keep them wild. Use common sense, don’t put out garbage cans until the day of collection in the morning (Save the bears).
